About Us

The Leixlip School of Music was founded by teachers Jennifer Lee and Linda Collins in March 2007 and is set to launch in September 2008. Our aim is to benefit the local community in providing an after-school educational programme in music and drama for all ages and levels. Our tutors are fully qualified and believe in providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment for all its students.

We offer after-school individual tuition in a variety of instruments and subjects including piano, violin, flute, voice, and drama. Also available are group classes in pre-instrumental, drama, music appreciation for adults, Leaving & Junior Certificate music, and ABRSM music theory.

Classes take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 4:30pm and 9:30pm and the academic year is divided into two semesters of 17 weeks each: September - January and January - May.

Directions

From Maynooth
Continue towards Leixlip village past Intel and the Amenities Centre until you come to traffic lights at the crossroads. Take the right turn and the school is located beside the Leixlip GAA club, the third school on the left.

From Celbridge
Going towards Salesians College from Celbridge village, take the second exit on the roundabout towards the M4 Interchange. Take the second exit at the Interchange towards Leixlip and take the third exit towards Easton at the next roundabout. Follow the road until you come to the Leixlip GAA club on the right. The school is located after the GAA club on the right.

From Lucan
After the sliproad off the N4 take a left at the roundabout towards Leixlip village. Continue straight through Leixlip village and take a left at the traffic lights at the crossroads. Follow the road and the school is located before the Leixlip GAA club and is the third school on the left.
